THE FUTURE, CHANGE AND PROGRESS

American people always don't care about their history because they think the future is more important for them. Americans prefer to make a practical plan for their future rather than consider about their history. Moreover, they believe that if they work hard, they can change everything to be new, even their history. Therefore, new things are better than old things in American's mind.
A long time ago, American used their hands and tools to build their country which has already been the greatest nation in the world. Several years ago, footsteps were printed on the moon by American astronants because they just want to prove they could do that. That means history was fixed by human being. that the reasons for which Ameicans don't like to learn their history or culture.
Furthermore, Ameiricans don't like traditional custom or culture handled by religion, powerful people and notable people.
However, there are a lot of people who are living in the third world. these kinds of people can not change their mind as Americans because the world is different and life is different as well. In these countries, residents existed on food and water, they also hope to have somehow peaceful life, so they can not do something like ameicans because they don't have the civil rights and social invonrment as same as Ameica.


Personal response:

From this part of article, I learned some uesful ideas that can let me know American's value. However, in my opinion, the assumption was a big deal that I was not agree with because sometimes the assumption can be positive and sometimes it can be negative. I also want to discuss about the last paragraph because it should have been a big difference between the American society and other countries. I think people who is living in poor and conservative nations can not have the same rights like Ameicans. " don't try to let your feet in other person's shoes" was a good sentence that can be used to admonish Ameicans. well, American social value was a good example to instruct people. we can use for reference.
